The first snow

I really like this portrait. A beautiful expression was captured, which is complemented well with warm, soft light on the model's face. The pose and the framing of the shot look thought-out and well executed, without being too rigid or formal. I think the slant of the picture contributes to that feel.
An interesting, and rather unique, juxtaposition I see here is one of warm and cold. Clearly the snow and even the white of the model's clothes appear somewhat cold. This is contrasted quite nicely with the model's warm red hair and lips and the gentle light on her skin.
One suggestion I have is that the model's white clothes blend in a bit too much on the left, where her right arm borders on snow. I don't think the white sweater was a poor choice in itself, but perhaps the shot could have been lined up a bit differently to get some more contrast with the darker tree rather than the white-on-white with the snow.
This is quite an excellent portrait. My compliments to model and photographer alike.
