Good: I love the colors in uses in this photo. Greens, reds, and various shadows that are all playing some effect. The strong Reds really pop in this photo. The bright red top helps pull the torso, waist, and gives her feet an end point in the photo. The deeper red is lovely here and contrasts the lighter colored legs+bottom. The lighter skin complexion gives a more pure look, but with those deeper reds give the teasing or more sensual suggestion to the image. The red REALLY pop forward from the green background. The green background is ornate, passive, non- repetitive, and makes up this photos environment well. The darker more shadowed hues on the lower bottom edge of the photo give the model a lighter almost floaty feel. But the pose would be more expressive like emanating a certain radiance. The flirtatiousness pose works well with good legs like that.

Not so good: Unfortunately the lower half of the left leg almost completely disappears behind the right leg with only the tips of the heal and toe exposed. The right foot is flat/ level with the photo. That leaves the foot /leg the feel as it is loose/limp and hanging off the chair. Sorta taking away some of the energy of the pose. The upper portion of the torso is not well viable, seeming that most of her attention is UP. But her face is turned toward the RIGHT side of the camera while her eyes are more facing the camera. If you really think about body language and what someone would really look like in say a flashy pose like this it would seem that there are some inconsistency in what you would expect in the facing of the pose to be like. Also some of the color could better be played out if the lighting was a little better. For example the legs are wonderful before the knee but after that all you see is how shapely the legs are and they're coated in pattern.

In conclusion. I could imagine you playing a little more with poses and lighting before settling on one photo. The dress, eye shadow, shoes, fishnet, lipstick, hair style all scream of fun/beauty/sensuality. The expression don't feel comfortable, body language confusing, and the light could really make all the effort in clothing and accessories pan out to something better and EXCEPTIONALLY beautiful. Truly lovely and well thought out with what is here. But I believe it could be more.

Having said that it is hard to critique a picture with out knowing the model or photographers goal. So consider it not so much a critique but merely my open minded thoughts. I still give you reasonably high rating but hope I shared the potential of the elements in this photo. Keep art fun, expressive, and play with it to see what the final peace could be like.
